I'm pregnant with my second child, and I was a little concerned a few weeks back, because the baby was in the breech position, and nothing I seemed to do would turn her. I got myself a pair of belly buds, and wore them around the house for a couple days, playing her classical music and keeping the headphones low on my belly (hoping to lure her downwards.) Anyway, it worked! The next time I went to the doctor, she was in the "head-down" position, and has stayed there ever since.
I've continued using my belly buds, since I read that playing music is stimulating for the baby (and after nine months in there, she's gotta be a little bored:). They're lightweight, easy to use, and perhaps most importantly, they make me feel like I'm doing something nice for my baby, even as I'm just going about my day. I highly recommend this product to any expectant mother.
My husband bought me these belly buds for my birthday last month and the product itself is great. The little one loves listening to the classical music and it makes me feel like I'm giving him a headstart in the stimulation of his brain before he enters the world. With that said...the downfall to this product is that the sticky part does not last 20-30 times as the description states. The sticky is fine if you are laying down flat and don't move around your house or go walking outside. They are good for that the first application. That's about it. And if the refills weren't $5.00 each it may not be an issue to keep changing them out. But we have already spent $30 on refills in 1 month. So if you are active and plan to walk around with these on and you don't want to have to worry about them just falling off...then you may want to try the ones that wrap around your belly. My friend has one of those and she loves it. I wish I had gotten that one instead too because in the end they all play the music to your baby the same way...its just do you want to spend a fortune on refills or do you want to purchase the product and never have to worry about te refills or replacing them again.
